Neurofeedback is not done to you. It requires your active participation to encourage certain behaviors in your brain, and discourage others. In effect, you observe your own brainwave activity and by altering certain responses, you can condition your brain to produce desirable brainwave activity. It’s a three-step process we call the NeuroTransitions Method:
* RELAX * PING * TRAIN
During a neurofeedback session, you are encouraged to relax as you listen to ‘pings’ from the computer. The pings help you train your brain: A ping indicates that your brainwaves are doing what you ask them to doand the more pings you hear, the better you are doing. You are effectively in control of changing your own brainwave patterns, and assisting your brain to produce optimal results.
